General Information
Our chapter dances are scheduled on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month at
City Island Recreational Center, 108 E. Orange Avenue, Daytona Beach, Florida.

Driving Directions:
From the South - Take I-95 North, exit I-4 East to Daytona Beach, then I-4 becomes FL-400 East (Beville Rd.). Drive
4.2 miles then turn left onto S. Ridgewood Ave./US-1 N/FL-5 N.(drive
1.8 miles) Turn Right onto Orange Ave/CR-4050. (drive
.3 miles) End at 108 E. Orange Ave, Daytona Beach. Building on right across the street from Jackie Robinson Baseball Stadium.
From Orlando - Take I-4 East to Daytona Beach, then I-4 becomes FL-400 East (Beville Rd.). Drive 4.2 miles then turn left onto S. From North of Daytona Beach - Take I-95 South, exit at US-92 E/W INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY BLVD via EXIT 261A toward Daytona Beach. (drive approx. 5.5 miles)
Turn right onto S. Beach Street just before river bridge.(drive .3 miles)
Turn Left onto Orange Ave/CR-4050. (go .1 miles) End at 108 E. Orange Ave, Daytona
Beach. Building on right across street the street from Jackie Robinson Baseball Stadium.
From a Raft Landing on the beach: Hide the raft. Take a shower. Get new clothes (Find your green card and show it at the door). Look for the Silver Beach bridge (aka Orange Avenue bridge), go over bridge, turn left into Chamber of Commerce parking lot, building is at the opposite end of the parking lot directly across from the tennis courts.
Dance lessons Starting at 7:00 pm (unless otherwise indicated), we offer dance lessons
taught by local and guest instructors, which are included in the price of admission.
General dancing starts at 8:00 pm and ends at 10:30 pm.
Admission
$8 for non-chapter members
$6 for chapter members
$3 for students
Singles and couples are welcome!
Snacks are complimentary and drinks are available for a nominal fee.
Visitors and guests are welcome and encouraged to join us.
Ballroom dance music is provided by GDC's in-house DJ, Bruce Remsburg,
featuring smooth and Latin music and includes both a Waltz and a Foxtrot mixer.
